Politischer Bildungsbau

Der vorliegende Band versammelt Beiträge zu politischem Bildungsbau aus architektur- und bauhistorischer sowie aus kultur- und bildungsgeschichtlicher Perspektive. Geografisch und zeitlich reichen die Themen von der Bildungsreformzeit Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts in Argentinien über Schulbau in der DDR und in der Bundesrepublik von der Nachkriegszeit bis in die 1990er Jahre. Die Beiträge beschäftigen sich mit der Frage, wie politisch Bildungsbauarchitektur ist beziehungsweise war, welche Bildungsideale und -konzepte sich in diesen Bauten widerspiegeln oder welche Rolle die Architekten und Entwerfer im Aushandlungsprozess von gebauter Umwelt und Bildung spielten.

The present volume assembles contributions on political educational construction from the perspective of architectural and building history as well as cultural and educational history. In terms of geography and time, the topics range from the educational reform period at the end of the 20th century in Argentina to school construction in the GDR and in post-war West Germany until the 1990s. The contributions address the question how political educational architecture is or was, which educational ideals and concepts are reflected in it and what role architects and designers played at the intersections of the designed environment and education.
