How are we to move from urban spaces that are neglected, disused, vacant, stigmatized, or monofunctional toward those that are lively, integrated, and mixed-use? At eight German locations, among them Berlin, Leipzig, and Munich, projects were developed in relation to the thematic foci "Multifunctional Urban Components," "Health City," "Development of Existing Structures," and "Sustainable Transformation of Existing Infrastructures," all of which highlight the potential for inclusive processes of transformation in municipalities in states of change.
