Solange Pessoa - Kunsthaus Bregenz

Exhibition catalogue of the Brazilian artist Solange Pessoa, who was discovered in Europe when she participated in the 2022 Venice Biennale, co-designed by the artist herself: large-scale installations, organic materials and the relationship between humans and nature.

Solange Pessoa works with bronze, earth, feathers, burlap and other organic materials, her large-scale installations are about the relationship between humans and nature, about life and death, animals, plants, and humans - everything is connected for Pessoa, on the material and the spiritual level. The catalogue was designed in close collaboration with the artist, the elegant black linen hardcover picks up on the organic materials Pessoa uses in her art. A comprehensive series of pictures documents the presentation of her impressive works at Kunsthaus Bregenz. With texts by Juliette Lecorne, Eduardo Jorge de Oliveira, and Thomas D. Trummer, including an in-depth interview with the artist.
