The objective of this textbook is to give students an introduction to production management. Beyond basic principles, it also discusses aspects of production programs and process design. The updated new edition also addresses new themes, such as Industry 4.0.

Ziel des vorliegenden Lehrbuchs ist es, dem an produktionswirtschaftlichen Fragestellungen interessierten Studenten eine Einführung in das industrielle Produktionsmanagement zu geben. Neben den Grundlagen werden Aspekte der Produktionsprogramm-, Potenzial- und Prozessgestaltung diskutiert. Die aktualisierte Neuauflage widmet sich u. a. dem Thema "Industrie 4.0".
