Der Komponist und Sänger Nicola Vaccai machte es sich zur Aufgabe, die �bungen, die jeder Schüler anfangs zur Stimmbildung machen sollte, ansprechender zu gestalten. Deshalb schrieb er kurze Stücke, jedes mit einem eigenen Zweck und mit Text unterlegt.
